About Me

Tabitha O’Connell is an asexual feminist who loves animals, abandoned places, alliteration, old buildings, long walks, and long sentences. For more about her in first-person, read on!

I write nonfiction articles, short stories, flash fiction, novels, and novellas, and have also dabbled in poetry. My fiction is usually either fantasy or contemporary/realistic. Writing asexual characters and complex, realistic female characters is particularly important to me.

I’ve been writing all my life, but have only recently started actually submitting anything. My first short story was published this year, which is a dream come true. 🙂 I plan to continue working on and submitting short stories and flash fiction, and also polishing up the several novel and novella drafts that I’ve written.

As for other details, I’m an introverted, white, American, twenty-something. Find out more on my Tumblr.
